A Message to Our Policyholders

Taking a Stand for a More Equitable Society

Deferred Renewal Payment for Our Policyholders Impacted by Hurricane Ian

The NASW Risk Retention Group continues to make the well-being of our policyholders our highest priority. In the wake of Hurricane Ian, we understand the challenges that many are experiencing in affected areas of Florida as well as parts of the east coast, and we’re committed to making sure our valued policyholders have the support they need.

The unfortunate reality is that many of our policyholders impacted by the storms may find themselves facing difficulties in the coming weeks and months. We want to remind our valued policyholders that there are provisions in place to allow extra time to renew your liability insurance policy while still maintaining your coverage.

We are committed to ensuring that no policy will be canceled because of non-payment during our national state of emergency period from September 28, 2022, through December 28, 2022. And as a valued policyholder, we want you to have peace of mind knowing you will not have a lapse in coverage if you are struggling.

90-Day Deferred Renewal Payment – To support policyholders who may be impacted by the storms and who may find themselves in financial difficulties, we want you to know there are provisions in place to allow extra time to renew your liability insurance policy while still maintaining your coverage. And your policy dates will remain the same.

Our Customer Service Center– If you have questions about renewing your policy or need to discuss additional accommodations to meet your specific needs, please contact Lonnie Ropp at 301-668-8726 or [email protected].

We thank you for being a valued policyholder.

Sincerely,
NASW Risk Retention Group, Inc.
